My life according to Weird Al Yankovic 2

Fri Nov 13, 2009, 3:29 PM
Using only song names from ONE ARTIST, cleverly answer these questions. Pass it on to at least 15 people and include me. You can't use the band I used. Try not to repeat a song title. It's a lot harder than you think! Repost as "my life according to (band name)."

I went to the library on Thursday, I got 3 books, (The Cestus Deception, Tatooine Ghost, and Vector Prime) but what's really cool is the number of movies we got: My two sisters, brother, and parents and I got a total of 26 movies and one TV season! My sisters got Homeward Bound 2, Aladdin, An Extremely Goofy Movie, and Shrek, and my dad got The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, All of Me, The Adventures of Robin Hood, In Like Flint, and Broken Arrow.
The rest of us got The Man With One Red Shoe, Clear and Present Danger, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, The Hunt for Red October, Black Knight, Firewalker, Goldfinger, Clue, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Die Another Day, The Interpreter, K-19 The Widowmaker, The Towering Inferno, Volcano, The Specialist, Robocop: Resurrection, and Twister. I also got season one of "Heroes", just to see if it's any good.

My latest raid on the library's movie section should last me for a while. :D

This is ten percent luck,
Twenty percent skill,
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will,
Five percent pleasure,
Fifty percent pain,
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!

Remember the name-Fort Minor

It is a Fact that there are more stars in the Universe than there are Grains of sand on every beech and in every desert on Earth.
To think that we are alone, That God himself only created us, it the height of Arrogance and Selfishness.

Yeah... Narnia and Redwall are Anthropomorphic, but I know not all their fans aren't furries. :D
Like me for example, I'm a sci-fi fan who watches some Star Trek, but I'm not a "Trekkie", and I like Nightmare Before Christmas alot, but I'm not a "Goth" :giggle:

I wasn't sure if you were a furry/cartoon fan, but I didn't really assume... I just wondered.
Anyway... yeah, Redwall/Narnia = Coolness (with or without the talking animalz :D ).

Yeah, I'm not really a fan of any one category of anything. I like some (or most) sci-fi, but not, say, the new BSG. I hate Rap music, except for 3 or 4 songs.

As for cartoons, I like some of the Disney ones (The Jungle Book, The Lion King, maybe Aladdin). I've only really seen one non-Disney cartoon: Titan A.E. It was pretty good. (It even inspired the design for one of my Lego starships)

But it's not the presence or absence of talking animals that is the point. (for example, I hate "A Bug's Life") It's about how good the story is.

Of course everything has an exception. Even the best story can be ruined by a number of things. (low budget, bad director, you know.)

I'd keep going, but that food I smell isn't going to eat itself... :D

Agreed, Story is extremely important. Cute characters can't save a film based on a crappy plot. I've seen those come and go by the dozens :giggle:
